Ella Elementary

Hi. I am Mrs. Xiong. Marysville has been my home for more than 20 years. I am entering my 26th year of teaching. I love spending time with family and friends. But I also love my quiet alone times, too. My pride and joy are my 5 children. My sons are all grown and attending college. My daughters are making great friendships and learning how to be effective leaders in their high school clubs.    

Second grade is such a fun year with wonderful learning activities to celebrate. I am committed to creating a classroom environment where your child is a valued, trusted, and an  integral part of our family of learners. In order to accomplish this, a variety of activities and strategies will be utilized to emphasize and reinforce this goal. It is my hope that families and guardians will support and encourage this vision at home, too. 

Hello! I’m Mrs. Smith, a second grade teacher at Ella Elementary School. I hold an M.Ed. and am deeply passionate about early education.

In line with our school’s mission to build character, inspire minds, and empower lifelong success, I strive to create an inclusive environment where kindness, empathy, and curiosity are taught daily alongside our core curriculum.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking national parks and touring Presidential libraries. I can’t wait to partner with our families for a fantastic school year!
